These Advanced Salsa & Bachata workshops are designed to take your dancing to the next level. If you've been dancing for a while, take your growth seriously, and want to connect with your dance family in a more technical and expressive way—this workshop is for you.

About Alex Gonzalez:
Alex is an advanced Latin Dance Instructor, specializing in Salsa and Bachata, and has been dancing it for over 10 years, and teaching for 8 years. Alex has learned Salsa and Bachata all over Florida, and from instructors from around the US and around the Globe. He has performed Salsa and Rueda de Casino throughout his collegiate dance career and continues his dancing at the professional and competitive level.

About Lauren Folk:
Lauren is originally from Canada and she has been dancing for as long as she can remember. From ballet to ballroom, musical theater to Irish dance, West Coast swing to Bachata, she’s done it all! She trained with Fred Astaire Studios in Houston, Texas as well as with several independent studios in Canada. Lauren is excited to be a part of the Latin Dance Jax team and to share the joy of dance with the Jacksonville community
